Intu Blinds vs Perfect Fit Blinds – Which Would Best Suit Your Home?
Updating the look of your home can be a daunting task. There are many things to consider when renovating, such as choosing complementary colours for the walls and fittings in each room, planning the work around your lifestyle – and budgeting.Â
And, if new blinds are a part of your plan, it is important to choose an option that ticks all the boxes when it comes to style, price and functionality. Blinds play an important role in regulating light and privacy – and can also be a major design element in your home. However, with so many different styles, configurations and looks to choose from, it can be tough to narrow down your options and find the right blinds for your home.
If you have something contemporary in mind, you may consider either Intu blinds or perfect fit blinds. These are two of the most popular styles on the market right now. Both come with a variety of benefits that could make them the star attraction in your home. But, which would be the best fit for your abode?Â

Before making a decision, it is important to consider all the variables. In this article, we will take a detailed look at both Intu and Perfect Blinds – exploring their differences, similarities, features and benefits to help you make an informed choice about which would best suit your home. Let’s get started …Â
Intu Blinds
Each set of Intu blinds has a head rail, which easily clips into the window beading. This provides a clean and polished look. The head rail and components of the Intu blinds are available in white, brown or silver, giving you the option to match your interior décor. And, if you buy from Select Blinds, you’ll be able to choose from hundreds of different colour options for the blinds themselves!
We offer Intu blinds in three different configurations:Â
Intu Roller Blinds:
Our Intu roller blinds are available with features such as anti-mildew properties and moisture resistance. They are easy to wipe clean, making them an excellent option for any household with lively pets or children. What’s more, our Intu roller blinds are also available as blackout blinds, which can create a completely dark environment suitable for restful sleep – even during the day.
Intu Venetian Blinds
Our effortlessly stylish Intu Venetian blinds are available in a vast array of finishes and materials and provide complete control over light and privacy. Much like their roller counterparts, our Intu Venetian blinds are easy to clean – and an ideal option for kitchens, bathrooms or bedrooms.
Intu Pleated Blinds
Our Intu pleated blinds also come in a plethora of style and colour options. They feature the latest fabric technologies and are available in both standard and blackout shading. Our Intu pleated blinds can be sponge-cleaned and are well-suited for moist conditions, which makes them a great choice for your kitchen or bathroom space.Â
Perfect Fit Blinds
As their name suggests, perfect fit blinds fit snugly and securely into the frame of your window, without the need for any drilling or screwing. This makes them extremely easy to install and means they’re also completely child and pet safe.Â
They are available in a range of different colours and designs to suit any taste. Our perfect fit blinds can also be removed and cleaned with ease, which makes it easy to keep them looking great for many years after installation.Â

Here at Select Blinds, we offer perfect fit blinds in three different configurations:
Perfect Fit Roller Blinds
Our perfect fit roller blinds are available in a slew of attractive colours, patterns and finishes. If you require a space to take a nap during daylight hours, why not opt for a perfect fit blackout blind? They are incredibly simple to operate, thanks to the intuitive pulley system. The material is fixed to a central axle – simply pull the cord to bring the blind up or down.Â
Perfect Fit Day and Night Blinds
Our perfect fit day and night blinds utilise alternating transparent and coloured strips, which allow you to adjust the light levels with ease by extending or retracting the blinds. The dual-layered blind material slides over itself as the blind is adjusted, providing you with complete control over light levels in the room.Â
Perfect Fit Cellular Blinds
Our perfect fit cellular blinds are sometimes also referred to as ‘honeycomb blinds’, thanks to the distinctive honeycomb shape of each blind, which helps to trap air, keeping your living space cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Thanks to these insulative properties, you can upgrade your home’s style whilst also saving on your energy bills. As there are no trailing cords to contend with, this option is also excellent for homes with boisterous pets and children.Â
Intu Blinds vs Perfect Fit – How Do They Differ?
Although they share many things in common, Intu blinds and perfect fit blinds have several distinctive differences:
- Intu blinds do not incorporate a frame, but are attached to a headrail, which is fixed to the top of the window. The blinds integrate seamlessly with the window, thanks to the side supports.Â
- Conversely, perfect fit blinds utilise a four-sided frame, which supports the blinds and clicks into the push-fit brackets.Â
- The frames of perfect fit blinds occupy a portion of the available window space. Some homeowners prefer the bigger, unobstructed window view afforded by Intu blinds.
- Although both types of blind offer a good level of privacy, perfect fit blinds perform slightly better in this arena. This is due to the fact that the four-side frame reduces visibility at the sides and also restricts the blinds’ movement in the wind.
